"Criminal record check" covers several different products, and requesting the wrong one wastes weeks. We offer both major types and will confirm what your agency actually requires before any payment.

Name-Based Check (Same Day)

A search of the RCMP National Repository based on your name and date of birth. Ideal for employment, volunteering and tenancy screening when certified fingerprints are not demanded. Results are usually ready the same day, printed on official letterhead for your employer.

Fingerprint-Based Certified Check

The gold standard. Your fingerprints are captured digitally and verified directly against the National Repository of Criminal Records, producing an RCMP-certified result. Required for immigration, citizenship, adoptions, record suspensions, name changes, vulnerable sector confirmation and many licences.

Vulnerable Sector Note

Vulnerable sector (VS) checks are run by your local police service based on where you live, and some require fingerprints to resolve a possible match. If you have been asked for fingerprints as part of a VS check, bring the police letter - it contains the file number we need to complete the submission correctly.
